BD Battery Charger BC25EB | | Review Date: March 30, 2010 | | Reviewer: C. Pinkham, Rochester, MI, USA | I thought I was taking a chance on this product when I found it at a Black and Decker Outlet store in Michigan. I figured mine is getting old and I should get a spare. However, I soon found that I had gotten very lucky for $40. This tool seems fool-proof (I should know) and does seem to be pretty automatic as stated. As soon as the battery is charged it will reduce the charging amperage on its own. I have not even used all the options yet, but the battery reconditioning function is pretty cool--I've saved one so far that I would have otherwise replaced. Also, the cable storage makes it nice and tidy on the shelf. Remember that to perform a jump-start a car, though, it will only perform the task a few times, then needs four or five minutes to 'recharge' in order to do the jump-start again. |
