Product Description

Monster SlimLine Battery Terminals maximize power transfer and visual appeal in tight spaces. Using battery terminals under the hood adds style to your install. However, a lot of foreign import vehicles lack the clearance for traditional battery terminal hookup. Perfect for installations in tight spaces, Monster Performance 300 Series SlimLine Battery Terminals feature a slim, ultra-low profile design that adds flair with room to spare. Three heavy-duty output terminals let you feed power out to multiple amplifiers as well as other powered system components already connected to the battery. The solid brass construction and polished black nickel finish deliver maximum durability and power transfer while looking great under the hood.

Works as good as it looks

I ordered this after installing an Optima Yellow Top in my car. I needed the slimline version since there is an OEM fuse box just above the battery, making things really tight. This fit perfectly for my needs. The battery connection is solid. The 3 connectors are simple and easy to tighten. The cover is a very nice touch and keeps your hot leads protected from stray wires and such. I've been doing car stereo installs for years and this terminal connector is a good example of simplicity and quality construction. I highly recommend it.
Brilliant design and Built Like a Tank

Well I was doing the Big Three Upgrade and needed 3 (4awg) connections to the battery(new alt connection, factory connection and Amp power wire). This terminal/distribution block was EXACTLY what i would have designed. Neat, well Made and PROTECTS the connections. My thick ring terminals fit solidly under the set screws. Really exceptional. A+

Well built, in my opinion. Handsome finish. Easy installation. I bought the matching Negative and Positive terminals for my setup. Both are great. I like the clear covers; they look good, and serve a valuable purpose.

My only complaint is that it is so wide that it sticks out beyond the battery, and risks hitting a common ground. Don't buy if you're battery doesn't have a bit of clearance on the side next to the post.
Great battery terminal

I know that Monster is often thought of as medium quality stuff that tries to pass itself off as premium quality stuff at a premium price. But this battery terminal really is premium quality. At least if you are looking for a ring-terminal type of terminal. If you want a direct wire attachment, then you'll need to look elsewhere. But for a ring terminal type unit, this can't be beat.

I have just one quibble, which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5: it is advertised as "slimline", which it is -- or would be, if the cover was shorter. The cover is way too tall for a "slimline" product, with 1/4" to 3/8" spare space. This isn't a problem for my installation. But, if it is going to call itself slimline, then, it needs to have a slimline cover.

I did, however, buy the product on sale locally for $20, which is less than Amazon's price.
