I like that they are maintenance free, especially the ones that are not easily accessible on my boat. I love Amazon because one battery was delivered dropped by the shipper, box broke. Amazon quickly sent me out another one. I just replaced the two batteries I ordered this past weekend. All worked just fine and easily cranked over my twin Honda 4 Stroke 130s. The sea trial will begin in a few weeks and if all looks good electronically, I will be confident to venture out 25 miles into the Gulf and not worry if my batteries will live or die out there. These batteries replaced my old West Marine Dual Purpose 12 volt batteries. The strength of these are twice as much as my old batteries. This gives me twice as much power and time when out there running stereo FF and GPS etc.
I would highly recommend ordering these Optima Batteries especially for rough outdoor use. |
