| The Schumacher Speed Charge SC-1000A is fully automatic and microprocessor controlled. It has three charge settings of 10, 6, and 2 Amps. For the 10 Amp Fast Charge, the charger monitors battery condition and adjusts charge rate downward to prevent battery damage. This setting is best for car, light truck, marine, RV, farm equipment, AGM, gel cell and deep-cycle batteries. The 6 Amp Medium Charge has a self-adjusting charge rate for everyday charging needs and for keeping your battery in peak condition. The 2 Amp Slow Charge is for charging and maintaining small batteries, such as motorcycle, ATV, snowmobile and lawn tractor batteries. The unit has 50 Amp clamps, used for top and side-mounted battery posts. Electronic push button controls allow for easy selection of charge rate or battery type. Battery type selections include regular automotive, deep-cycle, AGM or gel cell batteries. The charger has a sturdy, built-in handle for easy portability, and which also serves as a convenient cord wrap. 5 year limited warranty. |
