Didn't want the hassles of running seperate wires for amp so purchased this, plug and play and extremely simple to install. Upgraded speakers and am impressed with the sound quality. |
Alpine KTP-445 | | Review Date: August 5, 2009 | | Reviewer: Ben, UK | For anyone who wants a simple solution to increasing power to decent quality speakers with out the hassle of wiring, this is the way to go. I am amazed at the difference. Alpine does it again! |
BIG POWER in a small package | | Review Date: October 23, 2009 | | Reviewer: R. Hill, | Man, where to start. With this amp, you don't need the expensive amp kit. You don't need to run any lengthy wires throughout the car. This amp fits behind the dash out of site. This amp has a lot of power for the small size. I was so amazed with the sound quality this amp has. It has deep lows, and clean highs. It produces nice sound in my SPS-600c and KFC-6982IE. The amp compliments nice with my 12" Type R and MRP-M500. Now I can turn it up loud with no distortion. |
No brainer upgrade for any Alpine head unit | | Review Date: January 27, 2010 | | Reviewer: HomeTHJunkie, | Added this to a CDE-102 in an '08 Altima Sedan. Still running stock speakers. Pros: Installed in 20 minutes, great improvement in sound levels and mid-bass especially at normal listening levels. No cutting/rewiring. Cons: Slight amount of background noise between tracks. Not noticeable during any type of playback, just in the silent parts in-between. Overall: No brainer upgrade for any alpine head unit. piece of cake to install and the improvement (for the money) is outstanding. Can't find a decent amp for $100 to run 4 speakers. This does it easily. Actually looking forward to replacing the stock speakers someday (without the wiring hassle). |
Perfect | | Review Date: May 11, 2010 | | Reviewer: Raymond Posada, Music City TN | | This little dynamo is perfect if you are looking to power high quality component speakers. I am not running this through an alpine head unit but it still works with some creative wiring. Sounds great. Although the new power is producing some pretty bright highs so I will be replacing my type-s speakers with JL 6.5" to balance the sound. |
Awesome | | Review Date: May 10, 2010 | | Reviewer: R G, Virginia, USA | | I would recommend this to anyone who wants more power but does not want to wire speakers and a power cord and find a place to mount an amp. Installed it in a 09 corolla with a alpine deck and aftermarket speakers.... took 5 minutes and sounds great. Actually decided not to get a sub because my speakers sound so good. |
Must have! | | Review Date: February 24, 2010 | | Reviewer: Brandon P. Chojnacki, Gaylord, MI | | This is a must have if you don't want to deal with installing an outboard amp and have to deal with all the hard wiring. It made everything much louder and clearer for such a cheap price. |
Worth the Money | | Review Date: April 9, 2010 | | Reviewer: R. Goble, | | I bought this with a new Alpine Stereo and installed them both at the same time. Installation could not have been easier. Simply unplug the wire harness, plug in this unit and plug the wire harness to the other end of the amplifier and you are done. The sound quality was much better than the the stereo alone. The added bonus is there is no wiring, like adding a new amplifier, the hardest thing is finding a area to screw it to. |
Awesome! | | Review Date: June 20, 2010 | | Reviewer: B. Conklin, Grayslake, IL USA | | This little device made a bigger difference than i though. Rather than spending 300 for an amp, i paid $100 for something that does just as good in my opinion. glad i saved money and got this. You wont be sorry you purchased this. Makes listening at higher volumes more tolerable because it knocks out static and provides the full and detailed sound. Easy to install as well! |
makes a bigger difference than I had expected | | Review Date: May 23, 2010 | | Reviewer: Norman J. Lastovica, | | This was quite a boost to my new alpine deck. I had not expected as much of a sound quality improvement as it delivered. Pretty impressive in that regard. |
