After months of saving, I’ve finally bought myself a wonderful but used BMW! My boss is a miser with the wonga so it’s taken some time but now I have this fantastic babe magnet to woo the ladies.

My only problem at the moment is that because I wanted to bling up my wagon, I’ve gone and blown the rest of my moolah on new wheels. However, I have the best mum in the world and she’s lent me the money to go to the pub. I drive down and pick the best spot in the car park, choosing to hang around outside and show off my car.

My best mate emerges from the pub looking wasted. Usually a belligerent, miserable workaholic, he’s had the benefit of massive quantities of whiskey which have turned him into a big mellow wuss with a brilliant merry wit. And he’s going to need it in the morning!

Recently, he’s been mixing with birds that are a bit mental and whacky but this one takes the biscuit! He sees a beautiful, mysterious woman where I see a belching minger in wellies with a black moustache that needs waxing. However, he is besotted with his marvellous wench called Bella Marie West but if you ask me she looks more like Bombay Mix gone wrong. He doesn’t even notice the bogey-like mouth wart!

They’ve brought out bacon butties which she munches, giving herself wind. Unable to stomach any more of her burping, moaning and wheezing I head inside to chat to my favourite barmaid.

Some time ago, she made a bizarre marriage wager and is now very unhappy. She’s half way through her second bottle of Muscadet wine and we talk over the barmaid’s marital woes.

I have noticed the big, manky witch in the corner has been watching me for some time but after numerous beers she has mutated with ease into a bootylicious minx with the wanton look in her eyes. She’s bringing my mojo well and truly back and before I know it, I’m begging her to be my wife.

My mother has sent my brother to look for me and he rescues me before my wittering gets any worse. I swear this bloke was born middle-aged and weird but I do agree with one thing. My brother’s mantra was always to back marvellous cars with banging music woofers. So, sitting in the car park, I demonstrate the beastly mega wattage on my baby’s multi-channelled wireless.

Concerned that my battery might wane, I turn the radio off and my brother’s mood worsens. The only way to cheer him up is to allow him to drive home my Bavarian Motor Works beauty.

Wedding cars from the 1930s to the 1960s are the most sought after and also fairly rare in good condition. But because of their age and the distance they have to travel, they need an enormous amount of maintenance. The specialist repairers are hard to find and any parts need to be made. Years ago weddings were a local affair, but now with more choice of venues on offer, people will travel several miles to find the destination of their dreams. If people want to hire a wedding car, due to distance and the increase in traffic, the wear and tear on the old cars in considerable.

Gone are the days when you were told of a local man who had an old car, usually black or a dark colour, which he would use as a wedding car. You can now book wedding cars on the internet and when searching you will find hundreds to choose from, in all shapes, sizes and colours. But it makes sense to book your wedding cars with a company that has several vehicles in case of an emergency and has been in the wedding car business for many years. A well established company will have the knowledge to advise you of the choices of wedding cars that would suit your needs.

Vintage and Classic Cars

There are two main groups of wedding cars; vintage and classic. The best of the vintage era is of course the Rolls Royce and if you require a car that encapsulates the best of British, then surely this will be your choice. Many of these cars have running boards and wide opening doors for easy entry. But if you like streamlined looking cars them maybe your choice should be from the classic era. Many of these cars have swan neck wings and look sporty. But beware, because of these undoubtedly good looks they have less room inside.

A wedding car of either era will help to make you feel a million dollars and by picking the right company will take a lot of the stress away from you, so pick wisely. A long established company as a wedding car specialist means many years of experience in weddings and wedding car hire services. A company with many vehicles means alternative arrangements can be made in case of an emergency. Reputable companies can also offer you extra services such as chauffeurs in smart uniform, horse drawn carriages and also added luxuries such as a bottle of champagne for your journey.

Buying and restoring classic cars is a popular hobby for many car enthusiasts but is rarely a straightforward task. Although it is very rewarding, it can be expensive especially if you don’t know what to look for. From searching the classifieds to finding cheap classic car insurance read below to find out the right way to do this.

One thing is for sure which is that there is no shortage of classic cars for sale. You can find adverts in local newsagents, specialist magazines, the internet and online auction sites. You should be able to find everything you need from these sources from cars and car parts to cheap classic car insurance.

Firstly, you will need to think about what storage facilities you have. An old car is not going to take kindly to being kept outside or even under a covered area. Even worse would be to have it sat on grass or with a plastic sheet on it. As damp rises it has nowhere else to go other than to settle on your corroding underside if you have something covering your car. If you have to keep your car parked outside then also consider where you can park it as your neighbours might not be too happy with extra cars clogging up the street.

The next advisable step is to decide what condition of car you wish to buy. If you’re more than capable of welding, then your options are greatly increased as you can do a lot of restoration work yourself. However, if you haven’t got a clue what you are doing then it’s best to go for a car that needs little or no work unless you know someone who can do it for you.
When buying an old, classic car be aware that body parts can be tricky to find.

One of the most important aspects of buying a classic car is to make sure that you trust the person you are buying from. This is especially important if you are going through a private seller as it is extremely unlikely you will ever see them again if you break down on your way home. The best time to arrange a viewing is during the day so you can see the car properly. It will be easier to spot any scratches and dents in natural light than it would be in a dark garage. If possible take someone with you who knows a lot about classic cars as they will know what to ask and what to look out for from rust to whether you will be able to find cheap classic car insurance for the vehicle.

A few quick and subtle tips you can try are walking around the car to see how it sits, is there any sagging and do the panel gaps line up nicely? Check the body all over for rot, popular places for this are the headlamps and arches. Many people make the mistake of relying on the MOT certificate which is a good indication don’t rely on this alone.

Try to see the engine start up from cold – if it is already warm the vendor may be trying to hide cold – starting problems by getting it started before your arrive. When the car is started listen for any knocks when the engine starts up or clouds of smoke from the exhaust. It sounds obvious but don’t forget to take the car for a test drive to see how it runs.
However, do take into consideration that the car you are looking at may be over 30 years old so the chances of it still being in its original state are very slim. Service items such as brake shoes, batteries, tyres and clutches are likely to have been replaced over replacement over the years.

Finding cheap classic car insurance can be a bit tricky and will go through the roof for modified cars so try to avoid this. If your car is modified you are likely to have trouble selling it on later anyway.

The 1999 Bugatti EB 18-3 Chiron is a prototype car that was designed by Giorgetto Giuaro and was designed on a platform from the Lamborghini Diablo VT. The name of the car, Chiron, is from a famous Bugatti race driver named Louis Chiron. Being a prototype car the Chiron was the only one ever made.

The Chiron is a very aerodynamic car as it has curves from bumper to bumper and has a very low to the ground type of body. The Chiron features a rear engine and the storage trunk is in the front of the car. The Chiron is a 2-seater coupe and the interior of the Chiron is pure class as Bugatti used the finest materials like the best leather and wood. Inside the cabin of the Chiron there are two types of leather, which are Blu Pacifico (blue) and Sabbia (yellow.) The Chiron’s instrument panel is constructed of aluminum alloy. The trunk in the front of the Chiron has an individual luggage set that fits perfectly in it.

The Chiron concept car is constructed of carbon fiber, which makes the car very lightweight. The color of the paint is Blue Cote d’Azur as it gives the car a very sporty sleek look. The traction capabilities on the Chiron are excellent featuring a permanent 4-wheel drive and 20 inch wheels. The tires in the front are 265/30 and 335/30 in the rear. The Chiron has a 3 stage automatically raised rear spoiler that reduces the lift on the rear axle giving the car maximum traction. Since the Chiron is a low to the ground body design and made up of lightweight carbon fiber and aluminum it allows the for ultimate quickness off the line while still having excellent handling capabilities.

The powerful engine on the Chiron is an 18 cylinder 6.3 liter that cranks out 555 horsepower and accelerates from 0-60 in 5 seconds, hitting a maximum speed of 186 mph. The direct injection engine has a displacement of 6.3 liters, an output of power of 408 kW, and a maximum torque of 650 Newton meters. The engine in the Chiron is the same engine that was used in the EB118 and EB218 concept cars.

The steering wheel in the Chiron is a small spoke model, which is placed in front of two large dials and two smaller dials on the central tunnel, where there is a lever for the open gate coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. There are four valves for every cylinder in the 18 cylinder Chiron so there is a total of 72 valves. The compression ratio is 11.5:1, the bore is 3.00 inches and the stroke is 2.98 inches.

The Bugatti EB 18-3 prototype looked as good as it handled with its distinct color and classy design of the interior. The performance capabilities on this supercar are second to none as Bugatti created a classic with the Chiron that was first shown at the 1999 Frankfurt International Motor Show.

The 2007 Chrysler Crossfire has a very distinct monochromatic look and metallic paint job and the unique design of the automobile giving it a very modern and stylish look to this superior automobile.

When the engineers at Chrysler designed the Crossfire safety was on the forefront as well as the stellar look and excellent performance capabilities.

Some of the standard safety features on the Crossfire are an Occupant Classification System for the front passenger seat, multi stage driver air bag in the front, a passenger frontal airbag, driver and passenger knee airbags, driver and passenger seat belt pretensioners, and driver and passenger force seatbelt retractors. All of these standard safety features make the Crossfire one of the safer cars available today.

The interior on the Crossfire is extremely roomy and luxurious as there is a two-tome interior mosaic that adds a sense of style to the cabin. The telescoping steering wheel is leather trim and can be easily adjusted by the driver. The stereo inside the cabin gives the feel of a live concert as it features speed sensitive automatic volume control and a standard AM/FM stereo radio CD player with four speakers spread throughout the cabin. The Crossfire features a duel zone semi automatic temperature control system that has specific settings for both the driver and passenger.

The Crossfire has a standard ESP that is specifically designed for the driver to have as much control of the car as possible even under extreme conditions. The ESP has the ability to know when the car starts to spin or plow and will automatically correct the course by taking over control of the throttle and aiding in individual wheel braking to keep the car on course as this gives added stability when turning. The Crossfire has 4-wheel antilock brakes with a Brake Assist system that allows for excellent braking abilities on any type of surface even if the car is traveling at accelerated speeds. Power steering also comes standard on the Crossfire coupe. The distinct body design on the Crossfire was especially designed to have a low coefficient of drag and because of this the car easily cuts through the wind.

The Crossfire suspension is state of the art as the front features an upper and lower “A” arm independent with coil springs, gas-charged shock absorbers and stabilizer bar. The rear suspension features 5-link independent with coil springs, link stabilizer bar and gas charged shock absorbers. These features allow for maximum control and drivability as well as superior traction.

The Crossfire is a very sexy car that has sleek curves from bumper to bumper. What is impressive about the Crossfire is what is under the hood as the car features a powerful 215 horsepower 3.2-liter V6 engine that has awesome pick up as it accelerates from 0-60 mph in an impressive 4.9 seconds and hits a top speed of 154 mph. The look of the Crossfire is very distinct as it can be spotted immediately with its tapered “boat tail” look that highlights the Crossfires 19-inch rear wheels and 18-inch front wheels.

The designers at Chrysler made an excellent automobile with the Crossfire as the car perfectly blends a luxurious high tech interior and superior performance with a look that is nothing less than sexy and dynamic, not to mention unique.
