i have an old Clinton k500 5 hp outboard. It doesnt matter what i do it wont fire. I already replaced the spark plug. i have it tooken apart right now where i can see the coil, condensor and the points. My guess is it is one of those parts causing the problem. I think the coil is bad and i cant find one the replace it. Can i fix the coil? How to i know if the points are bad? Can i fix the points? can improvise with any of this ? I need help!!!!!
