Buying a car from Ebay Motors that needs to be shipped to the United States Virgin Islands.?
Is it safe to buy a car from off ebay? I am planning on purchasing it from the dealer. What type of payment should I use? How will I know if the car is in the condition as shown in the pictures? Any suggestions?
keep in mind that Nissan Altimas down here run for about 40k compared to the pricing in the mainland.

It will cost alot more to have it shipped and everything then just going to a dealer near you and buying one. Plus you dont know how it runs for sure and it will be heck of a lot harder to take it in or do anything since the car wont be near the you bought it from.

Have you seen, driven, inspected, smelled or kicked the tires of this car?
Are you stupid?
There are more rip offs going on in E Bay than you can count!
If they could sell it to someone who could actually see it would it be on E Bay?

It’s insane buy a car you can touch and kick the tires. Otherwise you are buying trouble.

Alot of fraud occurs outside of the U.S., and the Virgin Islands
are a territory of the U.S. however I would be sure of the laws that will
protecting you, before you procede. I would feel better about
a purchase within the U.S. Save yourself a big headache and
keep looking.

When you buy from a reputable dealer, you’re pretty much assured of getting a decent vehicle. It’s the individual sellers who use bad pictures, don’t describe the car correctly, etc. Check their eBay feedback, check for liens on the vehicle, accident history, etc.
Getting it shipped to the US Virgin Islands? Sounds expensive. The dealership will likely not know how to do that, so you’ll probably need to arrange the freight yourself.
