I have a 2001 celica 1.8 what all year model short block motors will fit in it?
I was wanting to know if I could use just a short block or even a whole motor from a older model car with the 1.8

You should be able to fit a small block chevy in it. You would have to do a little cutting here and there but that would be one fast Celica!
