Car Speakers Part 1: Coaxial vs. Component Speakers
Get yours!: www.sonicelectronix.com In part 1 of our car speaker informational series, we discuss and review some of the differences between coaxial speakers and component systems. Using the Kicker KS650 coaxial speakers and the Precision Power 356cs component speakers as an example, we give you a closer look at these car audio speakers. Hopefully this will help in learning more about car speakers, as well as choosing your next set of car speakers. Main page: www.sonicelectronix.com

yeah I did that for my kicker Ks Components because my factory tweeters was to small so I mounted my tweeter to the speaker and sounds much better than just the regular coaxial’s

tell me this, should crossovers / splitters not be installed before the amplification stage? becuause its smarter to split un-amplified signal rather than amplified?
cuz this is not the case in most installs, apparently yu are meant to installed crossover AFTER amp…. someone enllighten?
