Test details: The Infiniti M45 was redesigned for the 2006 model year, and a model with a V6 engine, designated the M35, was added to the series. Restraints/dummy kinematics — Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy’s head contacted the side curtain airbag, which kept the head away from any stiff structure that could cause injury. Injury measures — Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

This crash came out on June 19, 2005. Top Safety Picks were first released December 4, 2005.

I wrecked an Infiniti but not this year, same type of accident (off center head on) but at 60mph. The tow truck driver said he never saw a wreck that sent that much debris all over the road. Like a bomb went off. We still have our life and limbs though.
